I have to admit, this is my first time to blog. Everything Leah said above is true, I used to think I was technical...

The last year has been an absolute whirlwind, but full of too many blessings to count. I finished school in May (the last prereq for starting a family) and here we are 8 months later - 8 months expecting! The last few months have included a long list of projects to get ready for Jackson's arrival. Obviously the most significant being the nursery. Just weeks after Leah got the last pillow (of 18) for the fully furnished guest bedroom, I got the instruction to give it all away. I think we had one overnight guest and it was my bearded friend Austin, who passed out there and didn't even notice the thread count. Nesting has fully set in...and our little 2 bedroom bungalow is not getting any bigger.

I have to admit, I thought being pregnant would be much harder. My belly is growing and my complexion has been fantastic. Seriously, I've been very lucky - many people have commented on how pleasant Leah has been! I'm a very lucky guy! So here we are waiting, waiting, waiting still. I've been on house arrest in Fort Worth for going on 3 weeks. Honestly, there's not 2 people I'd rather miss the end of quail season for.

Oh yeah, Leah said I can't strap Jackson to the gas tank in the old Landcruiser - so I bought a used Toyota pickup. It actually looks like a toy.
