Well, I've been asking Marshall to update our website for months now so I can keep everyone up to date on what is happening with the Shepard's. Unfortunately I've had to take matters into my own hands and here you have it.....shepardshuffle.blogspot.com! We have another site, http://www.marshallandleah.com/ where you can see all of our wedding photos. Maybe Marshall will update that site one day, but until then this is the place to be!
Things at the Shepard house are focused on one thing....the arrival of our baby boy, Jackson Kelly Shepard. Jack is due Feb. 5th and we can't wait! We had a check up today and the Doctor says everything looks great. We heard his little heart beat loud and clear. He is VERY active to say the least. He loves to kick the microphone every time the nurse puts it up to my tummy. Jackson gets the hiccups on a regular basis and is most active at night when I'm trying to sleep. Needless to say naps have become a favorite pass time of mine. We are very blessed and pray for a healthy baby every chance we get. I'll keep writing and let you know how our growing family is doing.
I want to give a little background on why I picked ShepardShuffle as the name of this blog. For those of you that don't know, my husband has a very distinctive dance we like to call the Shepard Shuffle. The Shuffle usually appears at weddings and parties and causes everyone else on the dance floor to stop and stare in amazement. It is really something to see. The Shuffle typically involves Marshall placing both hands on his head, then one leg will fly around out of control. He will then bend down and try to touch his toes. On the way back up the other leg will fly around out of control. I will try to provide some pictures or video if I can.
