Wow, yesterday was an great day!! Thanks to my sister for posting the announcement last night....I never could have imagined how action packed yesterday would be.
I was absolutely amazed ALL DAY LONG! Leah was actually in labor when we arrived yesterday, so very little "inducing" was necessary. She was a trooper, and had the smoothest first time labor/delivery that our doctor had ever seen. 21 minutes of pushing and there was our little Jackson. The nurses confirmed that he is in fact "strapping". I could not be prouder of both of them.
Yesterday was also very special with family oohs and awes. Grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins all came up to meet the little guy. He entertained as he discovered he could stick out is tounge and make funny faces like dad.
So far he's had is first numero dos (wow) and is warming up to both of us. We got very little welcomed sleep last night, Leah is doing a great job trying to keep him fed. He's actually getting his "little boy surgery" right now, and should be nice and happy when the pediatricians bring him back to us.
Thanks to everyone for thier encouragement, thoughts and prayers....more to come later.

Take care,
