B is for Butterfly

The boys and I explored the butterfly exhibit at the botanic gardens today. We had a great time looking for butterflies and a random lizard (that we now we found).

Jackson kept walking around with his elbow pointing out. I asked him what he was doing. Apparently if a butterfly is going to land on you it wants to sit right on your elbow. It is the perfect spot. Makes sense to me.

We watched this guy release lots of butterflies into the room.

This little guy had a hurt wing and the boys were very worried someone would step on him. So thoughtful.

After a while the butterflies were boring so we went on a nature hike.

Love,
Leah
