For about the last month, maybe 2, this kid has been waking me up at least 3 or 4 times per night. We are back to newborn routine people. It is wearing me down to say the least. Here are the excuses I make for him in no particular order: teething, his cough, he doesn't know if it is morning or not, time change, growth spurt, and the list could go on and on. He is not alone in this sleep situation. His brother helps him out. Last night it was growing pains in his leg. Other nights it is a bathroom break. They never wake each other up which amazes me. I pray this phase passes ASAP. When they sleep through the night I get up in the morning with Marshall, make all 3 boys lunches and breakfast and even have a few minutes to spare. When they don't sleep it is all I can do to just make myself some coffee while the boys watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. I know this is just another season of my parenting adventure and one day they will be teenagers that I will have to drag out of bed each morning for school. This too shall pass......right?
