Happy Birthday to Mommy

We celebrated my birthday in style this year. Medieval style. Our friends Austin and Dani came to town and we took the boys to Medieval Times. I have mixed feelings. Was it entertaining for the boys? yes. Did I love watching them cheer for their favorite knight? Yes. Did I feel it was kind of a money pit? Yes. This awesome family photo made it all worth it.





After dinner went took Austin to Edelweiss for a little dancing and a German beer.



The next morning Jackson woke Austin up by repeatedly jumping on his back yelling CANNONBALL!!! It was a morning I think Austin will always remember. After breakfast we went on a mission to find Austin some crazy pointy toe boots he has been wanting. This is what he bought. No joke.




The boys had fun shopping too.













Jackson insisted on wearing his new boots and hat to school on Monday.
