This past weekend we decided after breakfast on Saturday morning to head to the lake. My parents have a little place on Lake Arrowhead that my Dad has been fixing up. The boys loved it. They played on the "beach" and fished for hours. Marshall and I were actually able to relax because the boys were having so much fun and needed very little entertaining. I am so excited to spend many more days here.
We obviously still need to do a little bit of work on the dock. :)
They sat in these chairs for about 30 minutes. That is like an entire day in Shepard boy time. I bet these two are going to be great fishing buddies. Makes my heart smile.
Marshall and Jackson took the kayak out late in the afternoon.
Someone was not happy they could not go too.
"How could they leave me here!?? I guess I'll go eat dirt."
Grant finally got his turn in the kayak. He wasn't able to go anywhere....but still had fun.
