Well it happened, Jackson finally got his first ear infection. I can't believe we made it almost 2 years. I consider that a huge success. Jackson got a cold around Christmas and it never really went away. On Monday morning he woke up with lots of green stuff coming from his eyes and nose (too much info? sorry.) Thankfully Marshall was able to go with me and both boys to the Dr. We waited to see the Dr. for an hour and 1/2. For those of you that see Marshall regularly you know how much of a germaphobe he has become. He freaks out if you sneeze or cough. So you can imagine how he felt about being in the waiting room. There were kids coughing and sneezing all around us. The problem is we had probably the most contagious kid in the room running around with pink eye! The final straw came when this little girl walked into the waiting room and threw up in her hand. That was it...I was out of there. Luckily the nurse called us back right then. The diagnosis is Jackson has an ear infection in his right ear and both boys have pink eye. which means Marshall and I will probably get it soon.
SO, Jackson has 3 oral medicines to take and both boys get eye drops 3 times a day. Is there anything harder than getting drops into a toddlers eye?? I don't think so.
Love,
Leah

ohmygod that just hurts me reading all of that and I look forward to the day that happens at the sheehan house (ugh). Hope the boys feel better soon. The snippet about the girl throwing up in her hand is greatness... when we were 24 & 25, did you ever think you'd be blogging about that?! ha!
Hang in there. This is really why MOMMIES will always be needed!!!

Oh yuck! I am so sorry. Hudson had pink eye when he was really little, too. Thankfully, the drops cleared it up really fast. I just washed our hands ALL of the time and no one else got it. Hopefully, you and Marsh won't get it too. I hope everyone is feeling better soon. Love ya!
