Camp out

We decided to try camping in the backyard with the boys this weekend. We figured if we can make it through the night here then they might do ok on an actual camp out. So Marshall and the boys set up the tent.

We cooked on the grill, made s'mores in the fire pit and explored the backyard with our flashlights. We had a great time. Jackson was excited to see the super moon. Unfortunately it was not so super. It was cloudy so we couldn't see it that well anyways. I woke up at 11:30p and Jackson was still up waiting to see the moon. He also wanted to know how to spell X-ray........mmmmmmk. So I took him to the front yard where he could see the moon a little better. Once he got back in the tent he fell asleep immediately. I slept ok....it was a little hot for me.

Marshall has no concept of personal space.

Oh....and never kiss Grant with your eyes closed.

Some of these are a little blurry.....

We headed to church the next morning. Needless to say we were all ready for a long afternoon nap.

I think we will be doing a lot more camping in the next few years.
Love,
Leah
