Crested Butte

We just got back from a fun and relaxing family vacation in Crested Butte Colorado. Marshall and Pappy drove up there and the boys, Granelly and I flew. To start the trip off right Grant decided to stink up the plane with the dirtiest of diapers. This is his "pooping" face. I'm sure one day he will be so excited I wrote about this.

The boys didn't nap on the plane but 3 out of 4 Shepard boys decided to nap on the way to the condo.

Jack was excited to ski and we put him in school our first full day there. Ski school is from 10am to 4:30pm. My sweet boy still naps every day from 2 to 4. Sure enough, Marshall went by to check on him after lunch and he was in tears. The instructor said Jackson was really tired. So we headed home.

This little monkey was too young for ski school but that didn't stop him from hitting the slopes.

Marshall and I would ski in the afternoon while the boys and Pappy napped.

The boys and all their gear.

Celebrating after Jackson skied down the mountain the first time.

Ready to go!

Jackson and Marshall on the lift.

Our first snowman!

We took Jackson up the big lift on our last ski day. He made it all the way down with Marshall holding his harness. Only fell a few times and loved every minute. We celebrated with a muffin and Dr. Pepper.

Each night we would head to the 70s inspired hot tub.

On the way home both boys slept.

It was a fantastic trip. Since we each wore layers and layers of clothes throughout the week I headed to the laundry mat to tackle our mountain of dirty clothes. 8 loads and 1 hour later I was done! If I haven't mentioned it before, laundry is my least favorite chore.

We had a fantastic week. Can't wait to go back.

Love,
Leah
