On Thursday night we went to Marshall's work Christmas party. A coworker of Marshall's hosts the party at his house each year. All day long I told Jackson we were going to his very first Christmas Party and kept asking him if he was excited. Overall Jackson and Grant did VERY well. No meltdowns and we even stayed 30 minutes past bedtime! However, Jackson did have some funny moments.
*I was upstairs with a few Moms and their kids watching the kids roll balls on the pool table. All of the sudden it got really quiet and Jackson started shouting "MOM! MOM!" of course I said "Yes, son?." "MOM! MOM! I TOOTED!" What else could I say but, "That's great Honey."
*The house was really nice and had a great media room. There was one of those TV's that projects onto a screen and had these big speakers where everyone was watching a football game. I look down just as my son is dropping the balls from the pool table into one of the speakers. I glance at the home owner as he watches Jackson and then takes a BIG drink of his adult beverage. I ask, "I'm so sorry. Can we get that out?" He told me not to worry about it, but I'm not sure if he will ever get those pool balls out of that speaker.
On a different note, sweet Baby Grant is starting to sleep up to 5 and 6 hours at a time. I hope I am not jinxing it by saying (writing) it out loud. We have his 2 month check up this week.

Wow! I can't believe how much Grant has changed in just two weeks! So glad he is sleeping better....Sounds like Jack was the life of the party! Miss you!
