We are enjoying the last few days of summer, although I'm sure it will stay hot until November. Jackson's new "thing" is to ask me "What's that?" at least 3,247 times a day. He points to the smallest little stick in the yard and asks "what's that?" I answer him every time, however by the end of the day my answers get a little short. In my head I am screaming "ITS A STICK!!!!" but all Jackson hears is "It is a stick sweetheart." Jack also helps make Daddy's Foffee (coffee) every evening for the next morning. He puts the filter in and then we count the scoops of coffee as they go in. He gets more on the counter than in the filter, but that's ok.
He had his 18 month check up yesterday and has put on 1 pound and grown 3 1/4 inches since his 15 month check up. He got 2 shots, 1 was the flu shot. Marshall is kind of freaking out about the swine flu (to say the least).
I am counting the days until Grant arrives. I can't imagine getting any bigger, but I still have about 6 weeks to go. I don't remember being this uncomfortable with Jackson. I wonder if that means anything. All his clothes are washed and put away, his bed is all ready (THANK YOU AUNT RHONDA!!) and most importantly I am ready.
Here are some pictures from last week.
This is a practice family picture. You can see the very large baby bump.
He loves his boots right now too. He puts them on in the morning and at night after his bath.
We took Jackson and his cousin to Burgers Lake one day and let them play in the beach area. They loved it. We were the only ones there. Cheapest beach vacation I have ever been on. :)
