Road Trip Pictures!!!!

Get ready for lots of pictures! Last Thursday we headed to Boerne, Texas to spend some time with Marshall's Grandparents (MeMe and PaPaw) for a few days. Then Saturday we headed to Austin to go to our friend Austin's 30th Birthday Crawfish Boil. We had a great time and Jackson was a road trip CHAMP. He was great in the car (we had a DVD player and some Baby Einstien!!) and slept well most nights even though he wasn't in his own bed.

This is a picture of Jack that Granelly took 2 weeks ago. Not part of the road trip, but a cute picture I wanted to include.
These next 2 pictures are of Jack and I. Since Mommy was behind the camera the majority of the trip I thought I would start off with some pics of the two of us. (I am out of contacts and forced to wear my glasses until April.....grrrrr.)

On Friday the boys headed to a Nursery in Boerne to check out some yard stuff while Mommy and MeMe got some quiet time to relax at the house. This is Jack and PaPaw just hanging out.

Jack "found" a sucker at some point and decided the stick tasted better than the candy part.

PaPaw took us all fishing at Boerne Lake on Friday. We didn't catch anything but Jackson had a great time being with the boys and throwing rocks in the water.

"Mom! Stop taking pictures, you're scaring the fish away!"

Pappy and Jackson trying a different spot on the dock.....still no luck.

Four generations of Fishermen....Pappy, Jackson, Marshall and PaPaw

Saturday we headed to Austin for the crawfish boil. I am not a fan of crawfish, but Jack liked looking at them in the cooler. Everyone had a great time and the weather was perfect.

There were lots of kids there for Jack to play with. This is a picture of the outdoor "playroom"
Jack decided he wanted to play with whatever toy his little friend Riley had. Bully! :)
Jack and Riley had fun riding around in the wagon.

It is hard to see in these pictures but there were several washer pits set up. Jackson loved them! He would take the washers and throw them (they usually landed behind him) and then drop them in the hole.
Here you can see him searching for the washers he just threw.
This one he threw landed perfectly! :)
Here is Uncle Austin cutting his birthday cake.

Yummy birthday cake. It was so cute, Austin and Jackson had on almost the exact same outfit. Same color Polo, same color jeans......
At this point Jackson was done partying and ready for bed. Thanks for a great time Austin!
Love, Leah
